When Average is a Good Thing

Emma had her 2 year well-baby checkup yesterday. She weighs 26 pounds and is 34 inches tall, which puts her just above the 50th percentile for height and just below the 50th for weight. Her motor skills - gross and fine - are at or above age-appropriate, while her verbal skills continue to need work. Dr. C was very pleased with her increased weight (o' to be under doctor's orders to gain) and, barring illness, won't need to see Emma for 6 months.
